Founded in 1989 on the occasion of the performance and publication of Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel's string quartet

in E-flat major and piano quartet in A-flat major. First CD recordings of the chamber music by Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel and Ethel Smyth and the string quartets by Gloria Coates and Violeta Dinescu.

CD recordings of the string quartets by Grazyna Bacewicz, Germaine Tailleferre, Arthur Bliss, Darius Milhaud and two CD recordings of the piano chamber music by Max Reger. Radio and television recordings at home and abroad. Concert activities.
