Studies with K. Shields at the Academy of Music in Munich and at S. Aronovsky at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

1990 prize in the competition of the German Music Council in the division pianist.
Lecturer at the University of Music in Munich ....

Since the late 80s, chamber music as a center of artistic creation: numerous concerts at home and abroad with various partners, including William Forman, Peter Lukas Graf, Karl Leister, Piano Trio Berlin and various chamber music ensembles, for example, Ensemble resonance or chamber ensemble Neue Musik Berlin.

Concerts with renowned ensembles at home and abroad, as a guest at international festivals as a soloist in several theater productions at the Konzerthaus Berlin, and as an orchestral pianist with many orchestras in Berlin
Piano accompaniment at international competitions and master classes
In addition to many radio recordings she recorded CDs with Troubadisc works by Boulanger and Tailleferre.

Since 1995 Angela Gassenhuber is accompanist in the section for wind instruments of the Academy of Music Hanns Eisler Berlin.
