biography

Michael Connaire, born in Boston/USA, now based in Hamburg, sings all over Germany and other parts of Europe, and also Japan and the United States.

Although well known for his interpretations of the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Frederic Handel and Joseph Haydn, he enjoys singing modern music from composers like Britten, Henze and Frank Martin.

His career sometimes has brought him to the stage: He has performed in many operas - for example from Rossini, Britten, Wagner and Mozart, occasionally in Operettas and Musicals as well.

Michael Connaire is a continuously Soloist in concerts of the Kantorei St. Nikolai in Hamburg for many years.
